Norfolk Dam Crane Rehabilitation

The scope of the project involved the demolition of the existing 10-ton draft tube gantry crane and the manufacture and installation of a new 10-ton monorail crane and monorail structure.

We provided a new power feed, a new electrical festoon system, and a new lifting beam. We also removed the existing fence and constructed a new one. As part of our commitment to safety, Sievert Crane & Hoist conducted lead paint and asbestos abatement.

Additionally, we conducted operational and load testing of the new crane, ensuring its reliability and safety. Finally, Sievert Crane & Hoist provided training for equipment operation to the government officials, ensuring they have the knowledge and expertise to operate the new crane safely and effectively.
