Nimrod Dam Gantry Crane Upgrade

The project involved a complete inspection of the 40 Ton Gantry Crane. This inspection included the crane drive assemblies and the inspection and repair of gearing, which required the design and fabrication of replacement gears.

Additionally, the complete electrical system was designed and replaced, including controls, motors, brakes, and limit switches. Value engineering was employed to improve performance and save costs, with controls and motors converted to a VFD type control system.
