30/5-ton Double Girder Bridge Crane

The University of Chicago required a specialized material handling solution, and Sievert Crane & Hoist delivered by designing and building a custom bridge crane system tailored to their unique operational needs.

The project involved engineering a custom bridge, trolley, and dual-hoist configuration to support their demanding lifting requirements.

At the core of this system is a 30-ton primary hoist paired with a 5-ton auxiliary hoist, both mounted on a shared trolley.

This dual-hoist arrangement allows for remarkable versatility, enabling the University to handle a broad range of load sizes and weights with precision.
