3-ton & 1.5-ton Free Standing Crane Systems

For Arthur Harris, Sievert Crane & Hoist engineered and installed two freestanding bridge crane systems—one with a 3-ton capacity and the other with a 1.5-ton capacity—designed to optimize their truck unloading process at the shipping dock.

The customer sought a more efficient and safer material handling solution to replace the conventional use of forklifts, which presented challenges in terms of speed and safety.

Sievert Crane proposed the installation of two crane systems, tailored to handle a variety of loads at different points of the dock.

These systems featured variable-length columns, custom-designed to accommodate the dock’s sloped layout.
